By[CANADA PM SPOKESMAN SOUDAS] is giving pre-G20 summit press brief,
saying risks to the global economy have increased since the Toronto G20
gathering in June. He called Cdn recovery as still fragile, but in better
than in other countries. He said that China has do more on making it's
currency more "flexible" and the G-20 meeting must have a frank
discussion on how to address current account imbalances and ease currency
tensions. Finally, he notes that Canada has a clear record in fighting
protectionism, and this will not change because of the recent ruling
that BHP cannot take over Cdn-based Potash. Meanwhile, Usd/Cad just under
$ 1 parity amid some trader caution to push much below ahead of the w/e
